The CARE Center has established collaborative relationships with dementia stakeholders in various counties throughout the state.
In these communities, CARE engages with citizen and healthcare stakeholders in an iterative process of identifying strengths and need needs to inform the development and delivery of a tailored UGA CARE Center County Dementia Resource Curriculum, among other services. In building these relationships, the CARE Center has leveraged existing UGA Cooperative Extension infrastructure and personnel and is working closely with the Archway Partnership, which “connects Georgia communities with University of Georgia and other education resources to address critical locally-identified needs and opportunities”.
