Diagnosis

Resources for Screening and Diagnosis

Diagnosis for Alzheimer’s Disease or Related Dementias can take a long time. It doesn’t happen in one medical visit. Because there is no one definitive test for Alzheimer’s disease, doctors need to run many tests, starting with a physical exam. The CARE Team provides these tests, many of which are covered by insurance, at low or no cost in our clinic, and consults with healthcare providers in all communities we serve.  We will provide you with all the information you need during this time — from the first symptom to after diagnosis.
